Variety: 100% old vine Garnacha.
Harvest: Manual with a double selection.
A unique high altitude vineyard
Manual harvest of old Garnacha vines in the Jiloca Valley between 750 and 1000m above sea level that lie between Zaragoza and Teruel.
An extreme climate
Old vines on slate soil slopes, exposed to an arid and dry climate that, together with the high altitude, give the wines a unique freshness and natural acidity.
Tasting notes
A deep cherry red color. An intense aroma of red fruits such as raspberry, with spiced notes of liquorice and oregano. On the palate, it is silky, fruity, with a good acidity that gives it freshness, ending with a balanced and long finish.
Food pairing recommendations
Ideally at a temperature around 14ºC, it pairs well with appetizers such as cold meats, smoked dishes, spicy patés, as well as grilled meats, roasts and chocolate desserts.
